The SSP-T7-FL is a surface-mounted resonator specially developed and released for ultra-low-power microcontrollers.Through collaboration with renesas electronics, we achieved low power consumption resonator.Because the specifications for the microcontrollers indicated at the right differ from the general specifications, be sure to use SSP-T7-FL if using such a microcontroller. Also check the circuit matching report, because the method for optimizing the load capacitance ,the resistors and capacitors in the oscillation circuit differs for each microcontroller.click here

Step-Up, Super-Small Package, 1.2 MHz PWM / PFM Switchable Switching Regulator S-8363 Series
The S-8363 Series is a CMOS step-up switching regulator which consists of a referencevoltage source, an oscillation circuit, an error amplifier, a phase compensation circuit, a current limit circuit, and a start-up circuit.Due to the operation of the PWM / PFM switching control, pulses are skipped under the light load operation and the S-8363 Series prevents decrease in efficiency caused by IC’s operating current.The S-8363 Series is capable of start-up from 0.9 V (Iout = 1 mA) by the start-up circuit, and is suitable for applications which use one dry cell.The output voltage is freely settable from 1.8 V to 5.0 V by external parts.Ceramic capacitors can be used for output capacitor.Small packages SNT-6A and SOT-23-6 enable high-density mounting.

Ultra-Small Package High-Precision Voltage Detector S-1009 series
The S-1009 Series is a super high-accuracy voltage detectordeveloped using CMOS process. The detection voltage is fixed internally with an accuracy of ±0.5%. It operates with super low current consumption of 270 nA typ.The release signal can be delayed by setting a capacitor externally. Delay time accuracy is ±15%. Two output forms Nch open drain and CMOS output are available.Compared with conventional CMOS voltage detectors, the S-1009 Series is the most suitable for the portable devices due to the super-low current consumption, super high-accuracy and small packages.

TEMPERATURE SWITCH IC S-5843A Series
The S-5843A Series is a temperature switch IC which detects the temperature with a temperature accuracy of ±2.5℃. The output inverts when temperature reaches the detection temperature. This IC restores the output voltage when the temperature drops to the level of release temperature.
The S-5843A Series operates at the lower power supply voltage of 1.65 V and its current consumption is 4.5 µA typ. due to CMOS configuration.
A temperature sensor with the negative temperature coefficient, a reference voltage generation circuit, a comparator and a delay circuit are integrated on one chip, and enclosed into the small packages SNT-6A and SOT-23-5.

Super-Low Output Low Dropout CMOS Voltage Regulator S-11L10 Series
S-11L10 Series, developed using the CMOS technology, is a positive voltage regulator IC which has the low output voltage, the high-accuracy output voltage and the low current consumption (150 mA output current).A 1.0 µF small ceramic capacitor can be used. It operates with low current consumption of 9 µA typ.The overcurrent protection circuit prevents the load current from exceeding the capacitance of output transistor. The power-off circuit ensures longer battery life.Various capacitors, also small ceramic capacitors, can be used for this IC more than for the conventional regulator ICs which have CMOS technology.Furthermore a small SOT-23-5 and SNT-6A(H) packages realize high-density mounting.

The S-8550/8551 Series is a CMOS synchronous rectification step-down switching regulator which mainly consists of a reference voltage circuit, an oscillator, an error amplifier, a phase compensation circuit, a PWM controller, an under voltage lockout circuit (UVLO), a current limit circuit, and a power MOS FET. The oscillation frequency is high at 1.2 MHz, so a high efficiency, large output current, step-down switching regulator can be achieved by using small external parts.The built-in synchronous rectification circuit makes achieving high efficiency easier compared with conventional step-down switching regulators. A ceramic capacitor can be used as an output capacitor. High-density mounting is supported by adopting packages small SOT-23-5 and super-small and thin SNT-8A.The S-8550 and S-8551 Series are offered according to different pin configuration.

The S-1142 Series, developed based on high-withstand voltage CMOS process, is a positive voltage regulator with a high-withstand voltage, low current consumption, and high output voltage accuracy. The S-1142 Series operates at a high maximum operating voltage of 50 V and a low current consumption of 4.0 µA (typ.). In addition to a built-in low on-resistance transistor which provides a very small dropout voltage and a large output current, this voltage regulator also has a built-in power-off circuit.An overcurrent protector prevents the load current from exceeding the capacitance of the output transistor. Seiko Instruments (SII) announced availability of the S-25A series of SPI Serial EEPROMs, specifically designed for use in the highly demanding automotive market. The ground-breaking S-25A EEPROMs set industry performance records by achieving 500,000 writes at 125ºC, and up to 50 year data retention.Today's automobile designs increasingly require higher performance EEPROMs in on-board systems that control the car's operation, fuel consumption, and ensure the passenger's comfort and safety. Along with the requirement for increased EEPROM capacity, automotive applications also require extremely high reliability and security. The SII S-25A series was developed to specifically answer the needs of the automotive market.While conventional EEPROMs typically have significantly degraded write performance at high temperature, the S-25A series assures performance of up to 500, 000 writes at 125ºC, and 1,000,000 writes at 85ºC, along with retention of the EEPROM data for as long as 50 years.

As such, the electronic components used in these products need to be smaller and thinner to facilitate these more compact packages.With that industry demand in mind, Seiko Instruments Inc. (abbr. "SII", President: Masafumi Shimbo, Headquarter: 1-8 Nakase Mihama-ku Chiba-shi Chiba, Tel:+81-43-211-1111) will proudly introduce the world's thinnest and smallest (1*) chip-type electric double layer capacitor, part number CP3225A, in October 2008.The SII Electric Double-Layer Capacitor (EDLC) functions as a rechargeable electrical storage device, and is commonly used for mobile-phone memory and clock back-up during the primary battery's run out or replacement. Somewhat different than the coin cell battery that may often be used in these applications, this new device contains activated carbon, which has large surface area, in its electrode, while using organic solvent in the electrolyte.
